Abstract

This study aims to empirically examine the effect of benefits, convenience, and security on interest in using e-wallet with risk as a moderating variable. Data analysis using the Structral Equation Model (SEM) using the alternative method Partial Least Square (PLS). The sample of this research is 100 online sellers in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The results in this study are: (1) Benefits have a positive and significant effect on interest in using e-wallet, (2) Ease has no effect on interest in using e-wallet, (3) Security has a positive and significant effect on interest in using e-wallet, ( 4) The risk of not being able to moderate the relationship between benefits and interest in using e-wallet, (5) The risk of not being able to moderate the relationship between convenience and interest in using e-wallet, and (6) The risk of not being able to moderate the relationship between security and interest in using e-wallet.
