Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas penerapan teknik editing dalam film dokumenter “Karyaku Ora Larang, Ning Nguripi”. Teknik editing berperan penting dalam membentuk alur cerita, membangun emosi, serta menyampaikan pesan sosial kepada penonton. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi dan analisis pada tahap pascaproduksi, dengan fokus pada penggunaan teknik cutaway, montagee, L-cut, J-cut, serta pengaturan ritme dan transisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknik editing yang tepat mampu menciptakan kesinambungan narasi, memperkuat dramatik cerita, serta menghasilkan film dokumenter yang komunikatif dan bermakna bagi khalayak.
