Abstract

The main problems in this study are (1) How is the communication strategy of the BK teacher in shaping the positive character of students, (2) What are the obstacles that are found when the BK teacher implements a communication strategy in shaping the positive character of students. For the purpose of this research is to know the strategy of the BK teacher in shaping the positive character of students. This type of research is qualitative. Data collection methods used are in- depth interviews, observation and documentation. The sources of data are from theory books, documents related to communication strategies. Furthermore, data processing and analysis techniques are carried out by answering the existing questions. The analysis includes data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing The results of this study indicate that (1) the strategy of Bk MAN 2 Klaten teachers in shaping the positive character of their students is to have a personal dialogue to understand the wishes and desires of students, provide classical guidance to each class, provide positive habits to students, (2) the obstacles that It was found that when the BK group formed the positive character of students, there was laziness that arose in students and internal and external factors that influenced the character of their students.
