Abstract
Teknik Frame by frame adalah metode yang sedang berkembang saat ini. Berbeda dengan animasi computational yang mengunggulkan pada segi kreativitas visual, frame by frame mampu menciptakan seluruh bentuk kreativitas visual. Gerakan yang lebih realistis serta fleksibel, hingga menggerakkan karakter dengan kesulitan tertentu. Dalam merancang animasi “Moments” penulis memilih untuk membuat animasi 2d dengan teknik frame by frame. Dibutuhkan metode frame by frame agar lebih bebas dalam menggambar dan menggerakkan sebagai contohnya gerakan orang berjalan, rambut terkena angin, gerakan hewan dan gerakan tubuh lainnya. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa film animasi 2d dengan format file .mp4 berdurasi 2:48 menit dengan menggunakan software Toon Boom Harmony 17 dan Adobe After Effect. Setelah animasi selesai dibuat akan diuji kelayakan ide dan ketepatan konsep dengan animasi yang telah dibuat.
