Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan survei komunitas, sebagian\r\npemain memanfaatkan Virtual Private Network (VPN) sebagai solusi alternatif\r\nuntuk meningkatkan kestabilan koneksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk\r\nmenganalisis pengaruh penggunaan VPN terhadap kualitas koneksi jaringan serta\r\nmembandingkan kinerja dua protokol VPN, yaitu OpenVPN dan WireGuard,\r\nberdasarkan parameter Quality of Service (QoS) sesuai standar TIPHON yang\r\nmeliputi delay, jitter, packet loss, dan throughput. Metode yang digunakan adalah\r\nexperimental research dengan tiga skenario pengujian, yaitu tanpa VPN (baseline),\r\nmenggunakan OpenVPN, dan menggunakan WireGuard. Pengujian dilakukan\r\nselama tiga hari dengan durasi masing-masing 20 menit per skenario dan\r\npengambilan data menggunakan Wireshark. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa\r\npenggunaan VPN mampu menurunkan nilai packet loss secara signifikan\r\ndibandingkan tanpa VPN. WireGuard cenderung memberikan performa lebih stabil\r\npada delay dan jitter, sementara OpenVPN menunjukkan performa yang kompetitif\r\nnamun dengan overhead lebih tinggi. Secara keseluruhan, WireGuard\r\ndirekomendasikan sebagai protokol yang lebih optimal untuk mendukung\r\nkestabilan koneksi pada game kompetitif."^^xsd:string;
