	bibo:abstract "Penelitian ini membahas representasi generasi sandwich dalam film Home Sweet\r\nLoan melalui analisis teks media deskriptif kualitatif. Generasi sandwich merujuk\r\npada kelompok individu usia produktif yang menanggung beban ekonomi berlapis\r\nsecara simultan, baik untuk diri sendiri, orang tua, maupun keluarga besarnya.\r\nFokus utama kajian ini adalah mengeksplorasi bagaimana film tersebut\r\nmengonstruksi realitas tekanan finansial dan konflik peran melalui lensa\r\nsosiokultural spesifik Indonesia, yang meliputi pergeseran budaya patriarki serta\r\nfenomena anak sebagai investasi jangka panjang. Data penelitian dikumpulkan\r\nmelalui observasi audiovisual berupa capturing adegan dan transkripsi dialog yang\r\nmencerminkan indikator-indikator tersebut , kemudian dianalisis menggunakan\r\nlandasan Teori Representasi Stuart Hall model encoding-decoding.\r\nHasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa film Home Sweet Loan bertindak sebagai teks\r\nbudaya aktif yang tidak sekadar menggambarkan beban material, melainkan\r\nmengkritik struktur kekeluargaan tradisional di Indonesia. Melalui tokoh Kaluna,\r\nfilm ini merepresentasikan adanya pergeseran budaya patriarki di ranah domestik\r\nurban, di mana anak perempuan bungsu beralih peran menjadi penopang ekonomi\r\nutama keluarga dan mengambil alih tanggung jawab keuangan yang gagal dipenuhi\r\noleh figur laki-laki (ayah dan kakak laki-laki). Selain itu, ditemukan representasi\r\nkuat mengenai eksploitasi psikologis berkedok nilai bakti akibat cara pandang\r\nkonvensional yang memosisikan anak sebagai jaminan atau investasi hari tua.\r\nTemuan visual berupa simbol cangkang keong di akhir film mempertegas pesan\r\nagensi dan resolusi bahwa kemandirian ruang personal (rumah) menjadi esensi\r\npenyelamat bagi perempuan pekerja dari jerat siklus generasi sandwich yang\r\ndestruktif."^^xsd:string;
