      "abstract": "Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis representasi generasi sandwich dalam\r\nfilm 1 Kakak 7 Ponakan menggunakan pendekatan semiotika Roland Barthes.\r\nMetode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan\r\ndata melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi\r\nteori yang mengintegrasikan konsep representasi dalam film, teori role strain dan\r\ntime-based conflict, serta caregiver fatigue. Analisis dilakukan berdasarkan tiga\r\nindikator utama yaitu tuntutan ekonomi yang tinggi, beban peran dan tanggung\r\njawab ganda, serta keterbatasan sumber daya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa\r\nfilm ini merepresentasikan generasi sandwich melalui tiga lapisan makna denotasi,\r\nkonotasi, dan mitos, yang mengungkap bagaimana tekanan struktural dalam\r\nkeluarga membentuk identitas, impian, dan kesejahteraan psikologis individu.\r\nMeskipun pengalaman generasi sandwich identik dengan beban yang berat,\r\nfenomena ini juga mencerminkan nilai tanggung jawab dan solidaritas keluarga\r\nyang memiliki makna moral tersendiri dalam budaya kolektivistik Indonesia.",
