	bibo:abstract "Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya penyampaian cerita dalam film \r\nanimasi tanpa dialog yang mengandalkan unsur visual sebagai media utama komunikasi.\r\nDalam film animasi non verbal, environment berperan penting sebagai penyampai\r\ninformasi naratif kepada penonton. Perancangan lingkungan yang kurang tepat dapat\r\nmembuat pesan cerita tidak tersampaikan secara jelas dan menurunkan pemahaman\r\npenonton terhadap alur cerita. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang 3D environment berupa\r\nlingkungan gurun dan rumah sakit dalam film pendek animasi berjudul The Last\r\nSimulation dengan pendekatan environmental storytelling. Metode yang digunakan\r\nadalah metode perancangan produksi animasi yang terdiri dari tahap pra produksi,\r\nproduksi, dan pasca produksi. Tahap pra produksi mencakup perancangan konsep visual\r\ndan pengumpulan referensi lingkungan. Tahap produksi meliputi proses modelling, UV\r\nmapping, texturing, lighting, dan rendering menggunakan perangkat lunak Blender dan\r\nSubstance Painter. Tahap pasca produksi berfokus pada penyusunan hasil visual menjadi\r\nbagian dari film animasi. Hasil perancangan kemudian dievaluasi menggunakan\r\nkuesioner skala Likert yang diberikan kepada tiga responden ahli di bidang animasi dan\r\ndesain visual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan prinsip environmental\r\nstorytelling pada perancangan 3D environment mampu mendukung penyampaian narasi\r\nvisual dalam film pendek The Last Simulation. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, perancangan\r\nenvironment memperoleh nilai rata rata sebesar 64,17 persen yang termasuk dalam\r\nkategori baik. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan perancangan\r\nenvironment 3D sebagai media penyampaian cerita dalam film animasi non verbal dan\r\ndapat menjadi referensi bagi mahasiswa, animator, dan pembuat film animasi dalam\r\nmerancang lingkungan yang mendukung penyampaian cerita secara visual."^^xsd:string;
