      "abstract": "Peran ayah dalam pengasuhan sangat penting untuk tumbuh dan kembang\r\nanak, baik secara fisik maupun emosional. Dalam masyarakat Indonesia peran ayah\r\nmasih dominan sebagai pencari nafkah, sementara peran pengasuhan lebih banyak\r\ndibebankan kepada ibu akibat kuatnya pengaruh budaya patriarki. Di tengah realitas\r\ntersebut, media film memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk dan\r\nmerepresentasikan tentang peran ayah dalam keluarga. Film Panggil Aku Ayah\r\nmerupakan salah satu film bertema keluarga yang menampilkan figur ayah dalam\r\nhubungan non-biologis dengan keterlibatan pengasuhan yang penuh tanggung\r\njawab.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis representasi peran ayah dalam\r\nfilm Panggil Aku Ayah dengan menggunakan metode analisis semiotika John\r\nFiske. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik\r\npengumpulan data melalui observasi terhadap adegan film, dokumentasi tangkapan\r\nlayar, serta analisis tanda berdasarkan tiga level semiotika, yaitu level realitas, level\r\nrepresentasi, dan level ideologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa film Panggil\r\nAku Ayah merepresentasikan peran ayah dalam keluarga sebagai economic\r\nprovider, friend and playmate, caregiver, teacher and role model, monitor and\r\ndiscipline, protector, dan advocate. Hal ini menunjukkan figur ayah berperan aktif\r\ndalam pengasuhan melalui keterlibatan emosional, kepedulian, dan tanggung jawab\r\nmeskipun tidak memiliki hubungan biologis.",
