Namun, metode konvensional yang\r\nsering digunakan seperti buku teks dan papan tulis dianggap kurang menarik dan\r\nmembuat siswa cepat bosan. Permasalahan pada SDN Minomartani 1 di mana\r\nmetode pengajaran masih konvensional, sehingga mengakibatkan kurangnya minat\r\nbelajar bahasa Inggris siswa pada kelas 2 dan beberapa siswa kesusahan dalam\r\nmemahami kosakata bahasa Inggris. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan media\r\npembelajaran yang interaktif dan menyenangkan, salah satu medianya adalah\r\nAugmented Reality. Penelitian ini mencakup pengembangan aplikasi augmented\r\nreality, dilakukan menggunakan metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle\r\n(MDLC) yang meliputi tahapan: concept, design, material collecting, assembly,\r\ntesting, dan distribution. Aplikasi dibuat menggunakan Unity serta diuji melalui\r\nmetode blackbox testing dan evaluasi pretest dan posttest terhadap siswa kelas 2\r\nSDN Minomartani 1, serta melakukan uji n-gain untuk mengetahui efektivitas dari\r\nhasil pretest posttest. Dengan adanya aplikasi augmented reality ini, diharapkan\r\ndapat memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menarik, meningkatkan minat\r\nsiswa dalam mempelajari bahasa Inggris, serta menjadi solusi alternatif terhadap\r\nmetode pembelajaran konvensional. Selain itu, hasil dari penelitian ini juga dapat\r\ndijadikan referensi dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif lainnya."^^xsd:string;
