	bibo:abstract "Keamanan jaringan komputer merupakan hal yang sangat penting\r\ndiperhatikan mengingat di era digital sekarang teknologi makin berkembang dan\r\nancaman pun makin banyak, serangan cyber yang sering terjadi sangat merugikan\r\nbagi pihak-pihak instansi bahkan masyarakat pun ikut terkena dampaknya. Salah\r\nsatu ancaman yang sering terjadi adalah serangan Brute Force pada layanan\r\nSecure Shell (SSH). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Implementasi\r\nIntrusion Detection System (IDS) berbasis Snort dalam mendeteksi serangan\r\nBrute Force pada protokol SSH. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah\r\npendekatan eksperimental dengan melakukan konfigurasi pada Snort yang\r\nterinstal pada sistem operasi Ubuntu sebagai pendeteksi serangan intrusi.\r\nSerangan Brute Force SSH dilakukan menggunakan Hydra. Data hasil serangan\r\ndianalisis berdasarkan log yang dihasilkan oleh Snort. Hasil penelitian\r\nmenunjukkan bahwa Snort mampu mendeteksi seluruh skenario serangan Brute\r\nForce yang di lakukan secara konsisten. Berdasarkan enam kali percobaan\r\nserangan, Snort berhasil menghasilkan alert sesuai dengan custom rules yang\r\ndibuat, dengan waktu deteksi berada pada rentang 1 hingga 3 detik. Variasi waktu\r\ndeteksi dipengaruhi oleh kompleksitas password yang digunakan, di mana\r\npassword dengan tingkat kompleksitas lebih tinggi menyebabkan threshold rules\r\nSnort terpenuhi dalam waktu yang lebih lama. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat\r\ndisimpulkan bahwa sistem Intrusion Detection System berbasis Snort memiliki\r\nefektivitas yang baik dalam mendeteksi serangan Brute Force pada protokol SSH\r\nsecara cepat, konsisten, dan andal, sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu\r\nsolusi dalam meningkatkan keamanan jaringan."^^xsd:string;
