      "abstract": "Dalam produksi animasi 2D, background memiliki peranan penting dalam\r\nmembangun suasana, mendukung narasi, dan memperkuat kesan visual dari setiap\r\nadegan. Namun, proses pembuatan background 2D secara manual sering kali\r\nmembutuhkan waktu yang lama, terutama ketika dibutuhkan beberapa angle dalam\r\nsatu latar yang sama.  \r\nPenelitian ini membahas penerapan teknik paint over 3D render dalam\r\npembuatan background animasi 2D berjudul “EXAM”. Metode ini memanfaatkan\r\npenggunaan model 3D dari aset open source yang selanjutnya di layouting,\r\nberfungsi sebagai acuan angle dan visual yang kemudian dikembangkan menjadi\r\nlukisan digital (digital painting).  \r\nHasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknik paint over 3D\r\nrender dapat meningkatkan waktu produksi, menjaga konsistensi perspektif antar\r\nadegan, serta mempermudah dalam eksplorasi angle kamera. Selain itu, teknik\r\npaint over 3D render memungkinkan penciptaan nuansa visual yang tetap sesuai\r\ndengan estetika animasi 2D tanpa kehilangan kedalaman ruang yang dihasilkan\r\ndari model 3D. Dengan demikian, metode ini dapat menjadi alternatif  dalam proses\r\npembuatan background animasi.",
