	bibo:abstract "Steganografi citra digital merupakan teknik pengamanan informasi yang \r\ntidak hanya melindungi isi pesan, tetapi juga menyamarkan keberadaannya agar\r\nsulit terdeteksi. Namun, penerapannya sering menghadapi tantangan berupa\r\npenurunan kualitas citra, meningkatnya ukuran file stego, serta potensi deteksi\r\nstatistik. Penelitian ini mengusulkan sistem steganografi citra berbasis Elliptic\r\nCurve Cryptography (ECC) yang dioptimasi menggunakan Algoritma Genetika\r\n(GA) dan dilengkapi Reed–Solomon (RS) sebagai koreksi error. Sistem\r\ndiimplementasikan menggunakan dua metode penyisipan, yaitu Least Significant\r\nBit (LSB) sebagai domain spasial dan Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) sebagai\r\ndomain frekuensi.\r\nPengujian dilakukan pada beberapa citra PNG dengan parameter evaluasi\r\nmeliputi PSNR, MSE, Chi-Square, Bit Error Rate (BER), waktu komputasi, serta\r\nperubahan ukuran file stego. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa metode LSB\r\nmenghasilkan kualitas citra yang sangat tinggi dengan PSNR 75,60–81,57 dB dan\r\nMSE 0,00045–0,00179, disertai nilai Chi-Square yang sangat rendah, sehingga\r\nperubahan citra hampir tidak terdeteksi secara visual maupun statistik. Selain itu,\r\nLSB memiliki waktu embedding lebih cepat (±0,60–0,68 detik) serta ukuran file\r\nstego yang stabil atau cenderung lebih kecil akibat efisiensi kompresi PNG.\r\nSebaliknya, metode DCT menghasilkan PSNR lebih rendah (48,27–54,42\r\ndB) dan MSE lebih tinggi akibat modifikasi koefisien frekuensi. Nilai Chi-Square\r\nDCT cenderung sangat besar, mencerminkan perubahan struktur frekuensi yang\r\nsignifikan, serta waktu komputasi lebih lama (±0,97–1,87 detik).
