Abstract
SMAN 1 Barat Magetan memiliki banyak prestasi yang diukir oleh siswa, namun banyak juga masyarakat tidak tahu profil sekolah, profil guru dan lainlain. Dimungkinkan karena memang berada di daerah pedesaan. karena itu penulis membuat sistem informasi yang berjudul “Analisis dan Perancangan Sistem Informasi SMAN 1 Barat Magetan Berbasis Web” ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan tersebut, yaitu memberikan informasi sehingga lebih mudah menyampaikan informasi sekolah kepada siswa dan masyarakat. Sistem yang akan dibangun adalah aplikasi berbasis web menggunakan PHP dan MySQL sebagai databasenya. Sistem informasi berbasis web ini diharapkan dapat memacu siswa lebih berprestasi, guru lebih berkualitas dan memudahkan untuk penyampaian informasi. Dengan adanya sistem informasi ini semua informasi sekolah dapatdibaca oleh masyarakat.
