Abstract
Di era dengan perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat, produksi sebuah animasi sangat terbantu oleh teknologi komputer. Dimulai dari pra produksi, produksi, hingga pasca produksi semua nya dilakukan dengan bantuan software komputer. Salah satu bentuk animasi yang ingin saya kembangkan adalah motion comic. Motion comic adalah gabungan elemen-elemen dalam komik dan animasi. Dalam pembuatan nya saya ingin menerapkan konsep depth of field dengan teknik 3d layer. Tujuan penerapan teknik ini untuk membantu proses produksi pembuatan animasi agar mendapatkan efek kedalaman pada gambar yang baik. Efek kedalaman gambar di harapkan akan membantu meningkatkan kualitas hasil akhir sebuah karya animasi / motion comic.
