Abstract
Bontang City Choir as an official organization with main purpose is to perserve and spread the culture of East Kalimantan to the world with the art of vocal and creativity needs to also keep abreast of global culture development so as not to be left out in trend. The fast growth of technology is very appreciated because it can support human life in so many ways. A lot of people are more than willing to invest their money, time, and effort to use the modern technology trend. For example, a big upscale company must have an official website as a sign that it is a professional business. Nowadays, the technology, is not only used for its effective functionality but also for a label of prestige. Now that the use of a website is very popular, Bontang City Choir also wants to make full use of its benefits by creating an official website for the public to access. With one simple responsive design that can be easily managed and easily accessed, whether it is a desktop computer, a tablet, or a smartphone, this method of providing information could be much better than before. The observation performed by writer has found that the previous method of promotion was done manually by staffs only relaying news in person to relatives. In other words, there was only small chance that people who have no relations to the organization members or the officials in the city government to hear about Bontang City Choir at all. There was also problems where other parties such as fellow choir groups from different provinces who were experiencing some difficulties when looking for a contact information. This system is intended to handle said problems and make a betterment change.
