Abstract
Video klip merupakan salah satu bentuk media promosi yang digunakan untuk memvisualisasikan sebuah karya musik dalam bentuk film pendek. Dalam membuat video klip yang imajinatif atau sulit, membutuhkan biaya yang lebih. Tetapi hal tersebut dapat diwujudkan dengan adanya rekayasa visual dengan menggunakan visual effects (VFX). Dalam hal ini, karna berkaitan dengan biaya produksi yang terbatas, penulis membuat video klip ”Two Phi – Invasi” dengan menggabungkan teknik live shoot dengan pemberian visual effects. Penggunaan efek visual dalam video klip yang dibuat terdapat pada tahapan compositting di proses pasca produksi dengan menggunakan beberapa teknik dan efek visual seperti motion tracking, rotoscoping, chroma keying, saber effect, serta efek tambahan lainnya. Untuk itu penulis akan membahas tentang bagaimana perancangan video klip serta penerapan teknik dan visual effects dengan menyesuaikan kebutuhan serta keterbatasan dalam video klip “Two Phi – Invasi”.
